Katie and Roger, Fall Wedding at Greenpoint Loft, Brooklyn, NY

Well 2018 is sure turning out to be one of the busiest! My business has doubled this year and NYC has welcomed me with open arms. I also paid taxes for the first time as a small business owner which was both exciting and scary all at the same time. As wedding season in this beautiful city is gearing to take off, I wanted to share a beautiful Brooklyn wedding on the blog.

My friend and second shooter Melissa Toma (who is amazing and incredible at everything she does) flew up from North Carolina to shoot this wedding with me. We had such a blast together (per usual) sightseeing and working. Melissa, If you are reading this, thank you so much for being my second pair of eyes and running around NYC with me!

Katie and Roger's wedding was absolutely gorgeous and a true reflection of them as a couple. I loved that Katie opted to do her own wedding flowers, and that Roger had his rad suit custom made by The King Sarah! Katie wore a gorgeous Hayley Paige dress that was out of this world! Her bridesmaids dresses wore a combination of different shades of gold and LOTS of sparkle! Her shoes and purse were unbelievably stylish and adorable by Kate Spade.

Greenpoint Loft is an amazing old warehouse located in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. I love the high vaulted ceilings, the exposed brick, and the rooftop views of Manhattan are insane! I could never tire of that view. Katie and her Bridesmaids got ready before the ceremony at the Box House Hotel in Brooklyn as well. Talk about eclectic. This place is oozing with interesting things in every corner.

What I love about weddings is that there are no rules. If you want a huge cardboard cut out of your cat on the greeting table, then gosh darn it, DO IT! If you want to see more of Katie and Rogers cuteness overload, check out their engagement session here

Well enough blab for me. A picture is worth a thousand words, and way more interesting :)

Remember to fall in love with as many things as possible.
