Coker Arboretum Elopement
Lisa and Myron opted for an intimate elopement at the Coker Arboretum at UNC Chapel Hill. We woke up at sunrise to get the best light and to enjoy the silence of the space. While I love weddings, I also have a deep appreciation for elopements too. Sometimes turning off the noise, being together in a beautiful space, the only sound being the words passed between the two of you, is so sweet.
The three of us met while working at UNC Chapel Hill in the Cystic Fibrosis Center (which later because the Marsico Lung Institute). I was lucky to be there from the beginning of their relationship which was nothing short of romantic, genuine, and truly special. Seeing the light on my friends face when she would talk about the love she has for Myron just brought so much joy to my heart.
If you are considering a wedding at Coker Arboretum, I highly recommend it. There are so many cool little hidden spots and an amazing tree that would be the perfect backdrop for any wedding. It’s also one of my favorite places for engagement shoots and bridal shoots. Even in the Fall the arboretum does not dissapoint.
If you are thinking of eloping, let’s talk!
Fall in love with as many things as possible.
